Meet Sonia
Hi, I’m Sonia, a passionate yoga teacher based in West London. I found yoga at the time I needed yoga and it transformed my life. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to sharing the powerful benefits of yoga with others. My teaching style emphasises kindness, mindfulness, and the joy of movement.
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe in practicing yoga with ahimsa – kindness and non-harm. My classes are designed to foster physical and mental strength, as well as inner peace. I encourage my students to release self-judgment and embrace their unique embodiment.
Join me in discovering the unity of mind, body, and spirit through yoga.

1. Choose a Calm and Quiet Area:
Select a space in your home where you feel relaxed and won’t be easily disturbed. It doesn’t need to be large—just enough room for your mat and free movement. The space should promote a sense of peace and focus.2. Declutter and Simplify:
A clutter-free space helps create mental clarity. Remove distractions and keep the area simple.3. Use Props for Comfort:
Keep yoga essentials nearby—like blocks, straps, bolsters, or cushions—to support your practice. These props can help you ease into poses, improve alignment, and make your practice more enjoyable.4. Maintain a Clean Space:
Keep your yoga area clean and fresh. Regularly sweep or vacuum the space and wipe down your mat after each practice to maintain a hygienic and pleasant environment. -
1. Growth Happens Beyond Comfort:
Stepping outside of your comfort zone is where true growth begins. It’s in the unfamiliar and challenging moments that we discover our strengths and push past limitations, both on and off the mat.2. Building Resilience:
When we face new challenges, whether it's trying a difficult yoga pose or navigating life changes, we learn resilience. Each time we step out of our comfort zone, we become better equipped to handle discomfort, stress, and uncertainty.3. Expanding Your Horizons:
Staying in our comfort zone limits our experiences and opportunities. By embracing new practices, environments, and people, we open ourselves up to fresh perspectives, deeper connections, and unexpected joy.4. Fostering Creativity and Confidence:
Trying something new sparks creativity and confidence. Whether it’s attempting a new pose, teaching style, or exploring new aspects of mindfulness, you build self-trust and creativity by allowing yourself to explore beyond what’s familiar.5. Overcoming Fear:
The fear of failure or discomfort often keeps us in the safety of what we know. By consciously stepping out of that space, we begin to realize that these fears are often unfounded. Each time we do something new, we diminish the power of fear and grow our sense of courage.6. Discovering Your True Potential:
You’ll never know what you’re truly capable of if you don’t take the leap. Pushing beyond the edges of what feels comfortable helps you tap into hidden potential, unveiling new skills, passions, and strengths you never knew existed. -
Meditation is a powerful tool for cultivating calm, clarity, and inner peace. If you’re new to meditation, this guide will walk you through the basics to help you get started and develop a consistent practice. It’s easier than you might think!
Stay Consistent
Like any new habit, consistency is key to meditation. Set aside the same time each day, whether it’s first thing in the morning, during a lunch break, or before bed. Even a few minutes a day can have a powerful impact on your well-being.
